Steam Generator IronA hands-on look at the SilverCrest Steam Generator Iron from the Middle of Lidl, covering its controls, steam functions and ironing performance on several garments.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
We picked up the SilverCrest Steam Generator Iron from our local Lidl store as a Middle of Lidl special.
The base contains a removable 1.3L water tank and controls for ECO and MAX steam. The iron has three temperature settings, a ceramic-coated soleplate and a steam burst for stubborn creases.
In our video we cover the features and functions, then put it to use on a number of garments.
USING THE IRON
The features we cover when setting up and using the iron.
Choose from three settings for silk and synthetics, wool, or cotton and linen.
Select ECO or MAX on the base and use the steam burst for thicker fabrics and creases.
Steam can also be used on hanging textiles and curtains, following the product instructions.
A replaceable filter, reminder and self-cleaning programme help with maintenance.

We iron a number of garments so you can see the product in action.
