PRODUCT OVERVIEW
We picked up the SilverCrest Spot Cleaner from our local Lidl store as a Middle of Lidl special.
The compact machine is designed for targeted cleaning rather than covering a whole room in one pass. Our video looks at its setup and how it handles real cleaning jobs around the home.
We demonstrate it on a bedroom carpet and an upholstered stool so you can see the process in action.
GETTING STARTED
Check the fabric care instructions and the cleaner's manual before treating any surface.
Confirm that the carpet or upholstery can be cleaned with water and test an inconspicuous area first.
Fill and assemble the cleaner according to its instructions before starting.
Work over the affected section using the supplied cleaning head and extraction method.
Give the cleaned fabric time to dry fully before returning it to normal use.
OUR DEMONSTRATIONS
We show the machine and the steps taken before cleaning.
We use the spot cleaner on a section of bedroom carpet.
We also demonstrate cleaning an upholstered stool.
PRACTICAL NOTES
The format is suited to smaller areas and localised marks.
Always check the care label before applying moisture to upholstery or carpet.
Take time to remove as much moisture as practical during cleaning.
Clean and dry the appliance components according to the manual after use.
