Can an under-£20 vacuum actually be any good?

We picked up our Ambiano Bagless Vacuum Cleaner from our local Aldi after finding it reduced to just £19.99.

The original price was £29.99, which was already inexpensive for a full-sized vacuum cleaner, but finding one for under £20 made it particularly interesting to test.

Rather than simply looking at the specification, we put it to work across different household surfaces and tried the supplied attachments to see how practical it was in everyday use.
